PPEC — Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care — is a licensed Florida healthcare model designed specifically for children with complex medical needs. It bridges the gap between hospital-level nursing and the warmth of a nurturing developmental environment.
At Kids In Care, your child receives skilled nursing care, physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapy — all under one roof. Our team monitors vitals, manages medications, and delivers individualized care plans for up to 12 hours each day.
For families, PPEC means peace of mind — knowing your child is thriving in a safe, clinically supervised setting while you work, attend to siblings, or simply rest.
PPEC allows Medicaid-eligible children with medically complex conditions to receive up to 12 hours of daily nursing care, therapy, and developmental services — at no cost to most families.
